Totemistic started in the garden 2007. The bark stripped away by birds was replaced with handmade wooden objects found in second hand shops. They are tied onto the tree with rope.
Totemistic, as a cast iron sculpture was first installed in Angered in a park where the trees were allowed to fall and disintegrate naturally, in contrast to the iron tree. It was later relocated to a park in Majorna, Gothenburg.
A plank, inscribed with "You will receive a gift" cast in iron is visible as the visitor approaches Totemistic.

Casting In/Casting Out, 1 Shanthi Road, Bangalore India, 2012. "Unfound objects" revisited in site-specific exhibition in Bangalore India. Objects cast from plastic packaging collected from neighbourhood and in trash dump where "trash burner" and "excavation" are installed.
